HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Resolutions and Exercise

Ahhh, the new year. Resolutions. Bet you made a resolution to exercise more... wanna know how to really get over that hump and stick to it?? Here are a couple tips, courtesy of the Your Health and Happiness Newsletter provided by Beliefnet.com:

  • Leave Dieting out of it: We need to first figure out why we resent exercise. It's not really all about dieting anyway.

  • Make it Fun: there is too much emphasis on loosing weight. So what if we don't look like the magazine- I doubt they had fun getting that thin!

  1. I really enjoyed your post.
It didn't suprise me that people who were exercise resistant were that way because they had a negative childhood experience or association with exercise. These are some of the things I try to help my clients through. It has really worked well for me also, letting go of my old negative emotions, associations or opinions about something. When we turn those negative thoughts into postitive ones, it can give us incredible powers.
Thank you for sharing that article.
